Nehalem Bay State Park

Nestled between the ocean and the bay, Nehalem Bay State Park is situated at the beginning of a 3-mile-long sand spit below Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain, 17 miles north of Garibaldi.  The park features a campground, several day-use areas and a variety of recreational opportunities for the whole family, including hiking, kite flying, beachcombing, nature trails, kayaking and clamming.

The park are a 2,400-foot airstrip that offers a walk-in campsite for hikers and bikers traveling up and down the coast.  Yurts are available as an alternative camping experience.

Primitive horse camp sites are also available. Fine dining and local boutiques can be found in neighboring communities of Manzanita and Nehalem.

There is a day-use fee.
